BUSY week

 5th May - Dragonboat at Bank ST, Pyrmont

yeah, we won the champion! 

dragon boating is fun although is tiring
body aching the whole day afterwards

7th May - Avengers Movie

watching with big group of Malaysian
we booked the one of the theater actually
is a nice movie but i fall asleep few times
too tired and the sofa is too comfortable to sit

8th May - AUG volunteer from 1-5pm

 

9th May - tutor for year12 mathematics from 3-6pm

10 th May - Working from 1-5pm, UNSW mini food festival afterward

kind of disappointing for the food over there, was expecting lots stalls with lots of nice food

11st May - AUG Volunteer 10-3pm and SHOPPING afterward !!

Coming Sunday, flyer-ing around Marsfield area
and yea, my assignments are due in the coming week

I am busy

i knew it has been a long time since the last update

i have been busy over the last few weeks

The AUG event was held on the past past Thursday

Yeah! Over 300 people has come for the education and migration expo

Dinner at some Asian Restaurant. Name forgotten.

Oh yea, there is a lucky draw for volunteer.
Prize were ipod dock and ipod shuffle if not mistaken

In order to be fair, the winner would be choose by 3 different people.
The first person would choose the second person by drawing the name from box
so the second person would draw the 3rd lucky person who would win the prize.
Definitely you would not want your name to come out in the first 2.

For ipod shuffle, it goes by 5 people.
Unluckily, I am the 3rd person. sob.
Anyway i don't need a ipod either.

guys, still remember the interview experience that I had?

I get chosen and start the training this week =)
I am now working as a part-time receptionist at Chatswood Sports and Family Physio

Interview

My Interview experience
Date: Thursday, 18th of August
Time: 1.25pm – 1.50pm
Venue: Sports & Family Physio

It surprise me when i step in the Clinics as all the staffs(include doctor maybe) there know my name.
They greet me with my name.
By the time I enter the clinic, only I found out that the doctor is Korean people.
Ok, back to the topic. They were looking someone to be part time receptionist.
Jobs include registration, translation between doctor and patients and reference letter.

Interview started with some questions about my background and some usual asked questions
eg, why should we hire you?
It goes well
then it continue with testing my ability to translate
I think I pass the part that translate between English and Chinese and Cantonese to English
(have to credit to TVB drama)
but Fail in the part translate English to Cantonese.
The last part is testing the Writing ability.
I was given a letter with spelling and grammar mistakes and asked to correct it.
I don't think i did it well as I don't have confidence towards my grammar.
I always have grammar mistakes and spelling error in my essay.

one week gone

still i feel that classes are better than holidays despite have to wake up early

i wonder why tutorial class have to be separate using the pointer

met my course mate when i doing volunteer job

and i read the shock expression on their face

as i was giving out flyers on the road

today again i distribute the flyers on the road

but this time is a paid job

i have 6 hours class with 4 tutorials

i regret that i do not go back during winter holidays

i wish i was at the air papan
