Student Assessment Center (SAC) 2012

Organised by JPA and relevant Msian Government Department

Before I attend this seminar, I thought that it would be some boring talks

while I was totally wrong

the seminar was interesting and fun

It starts with 30mins of speech 

which focus on what are the options available after we graduate

Then the next session was mini game time + chicken dance
i guess everyone knows chicken dance right

It is then followed by group discussion and presentation
topic : what we would see in Msia in 2020

my group focus more on the social and environment issues

Oh yea, forgot to mention that we are required to use Bahasa

my malay is basically karat and lots joke came out during discussion

here it came the most interesting part of the seminar

we were given a senario where our country will be having a war

There is only 4 warriors to be chosen to send for war

who will be chosen

every person was assign a character

Suri Rumah Tangga, Pembuat Cincin, Momok, Posmen, Pengemis

Penjaga Zoo, Ahli Politik, Tukang Paip etc

( I am penjaga zoo)

we were asked to choose with supporting reasons.

it is so fun when people debating that they should be the one who go

Our group decision was
Momok, Posmen, Pembuat Cincin and Tukang Paip

Momok - knows magic and wont die
Posmen - knows geographical well and can send bomb

Pembuat cincin - familar with metal

Tukang Paip - destroy enemy's water system

Each group are presenting their decision and would be questioned by other group

there is one 经典 dialog

Students : We don't send pembuat cincin because when the warriors back, we would be able to give them the alat-alat kemas as the token of appreciation (smth like that)

Presenter : Apa yang kita nak? Kita nak freedom, bukan cincin
( with the fingers shaking showing the ring)

  

super funny with his tone

it is really funny, and the whole presentation was full of fun

different group have different ideas and the supporting reasons are kind of interesting as well

Before the lunch, we have another mini game session

buaya & biawak

loser of the game was asked to communicate in their " buaya/biawak" language

and explained what they were talking

Buaya are guys and their language was basically  "roar"

Girls are Biawak and using "shiiiiiiii"

So guys start the conversation first
"roarrrr...." with explanation

cantiknya ekor kamu

顿时全场爆笑

 basically, the whole session was full of laugh

After lunch, we were asked to do individual public speaking

3 minutes each person

okay, i did pretty bad in this session

anyway is a good experience =)

I left the seminar after the public speaking

because I got the rehearsal in the late noon

I really learn something in this seminar
